My classes are basically for beginners - both adults and teens.
Drawing: Learning to draw or sketch focuses on concave and convex shapes, and includes all the shading techniques for a third dimensional effect.
Painting lessons start with oil painting (a very forgiving medium which lends itself to drawing with a paint brush). Techniques include mixing colours, effects with stipple and fan brushes, mottling, blending, blocking in, and fat-over-lean. Liquin, a mixing medium, promotes quick dry, and makes oil painting a pleasure.
Other techniques for the beginner include: Focal points; light source; perspective - vanishing points, aerial and lateral perspective; picture composition
