Generally, there are 2 types of modding - some consoles require a physical modchip to be soldered onto the motherboard or drive pc board, while others allow the flashing of custom hacked firmware onto the machine, which is entirely software-based. Both methods work equally well, but soft-modding is more cost-effective and a simpler process, so when it is supported on a specific console that's the way to go. We offer both modchip installations and flashing services for the various consoles.

Consoles that are supported:

- Xbox 360 @ R350
The Xbox 360 can be soft-modded/firmware flashed, which means the work is usually completed within 20 minutes. A hacked version of your original firmware, with certain checks removed, is flashed onto the drive. It is very reliable and safe to do since there are no physical changes to the console. All drive versions are supported and we flash with only the latest i-Xtreme firmware. After flashing the console will operate exactly as it did before, but it will be able to read and play backup games from disc.

- Wii @ R700
The WiiKey 2 modchip is used to modify Wii consoles. This is one of the best quality chips available, and is also the most reliable. Another advantage is that it can be used on most consoles with the minimum installation time. This is still a modchip that needs to be soldered in though, so you will usually get your machine back the next day. Most Wii versions are supported. After chipping the console will operate exactly as it did before, but it will be able to read and play backup games from disc, as well as being region-free.

- Playstation 2 @ R550
We use the extremely stable, highly reliable and excellent quality ModBo 4.0 modchip for our Playstation 2 installations. This chip is based on the critically acclaimed Matrix Infinity mod-chip, and offers the same features and stability at a much lower price. This is by far the best value chip for the PS2. It can also be used on any version of Playstation 2, from the oldest fat models to the newest slimline machines. Note that the installation is rather complex and we need at least a day to install it. After chipping the console will operate exactly as it did before, but it will be able to read and play backup games from disc.

- PSP @ R250
The PSP can be soft-modded/firmware flashed, and you usually get it back the same day (sometimes done while you wait). It is very reliable and safe to do, and most models are supported. Operation of the PSP differs slightly after flashing, so instructions will be given. The end result is also to make it possible to play game backups, but from memory stick.
