IF you’re a teacher wanting to spread your wings in SEPTEMBER 2012 and practice your profession in the Middle East (UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi etc), these would be the requirements:

• Able to start on 1 September 2012
• South African citizen
• South African teaching qualifications (B Ed, BA + PGCE/HDE etc)
• Valid passport-holder
• No criminal record
• Excellent written and spoken English is non-negotiable
• Aged between 24 and 48
• Preferably 2 years’ teaching experience
• Must currently be employed as a teacher
• Single travel status (no dependants to accompany you)
• Able to accept a 2-year contract

USUAL REMUNERATION PACKAGE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:
• Tax-free salary
• School applies and pays for your visa
• 2 free flights per academic year at start and end of each contract year
• Free accommodation (shared or single)
• End-of-service gratuity
• Full salary for summer vacation months of July & August

• Relocation allowance (only some schools; dependent on teacher status)
