Java Developers: Cape Town (PO2)


My client, a top software provider worldwide, is seeking a Junior & Mid Level Software Developer with the following requirements:

Minimum Requirements:
• B.Sc or B.Eng Degree (Computer Science) OR a B.Tech degree with at least 2 years experience as full time developer in a professional development team.
Other Requirements:

• Excellent object-oriented analysis, design and development skills
• Experience using an OO language such as Java or C++. Java expertise with J2SE experience is preferred
• Sound understanding of relational databases and SQL, including experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• A commitment to quality
• The ability to work well in a team
• The ability to communicate effectively - both verbal and written communication
Meeting any of the following additional criteria would be a plus:
• Experience using Python
• DB2 LUW experience
• AIX (ideally version 5) experience
• EFT industry experience
Salary:

R15 000 – R37 500
