Between the island of Geyser Rock and Dyer Island is a narrow and shallow channel called Shark Alley. Due to the resident seal colonies this is breakfast, lunch and supper for the Great White.

Sharks are quite possibly the world’s most feared animals. From the smallest sand shark to the enormous whale shark, they are sleek, muscled, and some are almost as agile as a dolphin. There is no doubt that they are the most evolved predators in the ocean. Row upon row of teeth and capable of sensing the blood of an injured animal from over a kilometre away, it’s not surprising that they are the most feared creature beneath the waves. And of them all, the Great White is the most awesome.

What we are offering you is the opportunity to dive and meet Carcharodon carcharias a 6m Great White Shark, face to face and understand that this magnificent creature should be more respected than feared.

We can take out up to 40 participants at a time, large viewing decks on the boat, and fresh hot water showers on board, securely structured galvanised steel cage. All equipment is regularly checked by the authorities. The crew is highly qualified and trained.

Flying Sharks as seen on National Geographic

This is the best season to see The Great White Shark Carcharodon carcharias fly through the air.

False Bay, Cape Town is home to the “flying” great white sharks. This behaviour can be seen nowhere else on earth on such a regular basis. This unique hunting behaviour has become world renowned and puts False Bay on the map for any shark lover. Many documentaries and movies are filmed in this area because of the great shark activity!
The breaching behaviour is seen mainly when hunting seals. The shark comes from the deep sea, aims it sights at its prey and then like a torpedo, it propels itself out the water, at the seal. The seal literally has no idea what has hit it. Then, with a big splash it’s gone.
